Make your own Halloween Cupcake Picks

Aren't these the cutest Halloween Cupcake Picks?  You can whip these up in a matter of minutes, with your Stampin Up! supplies and scraps!

I started with Whisper White Cardstock, stamped with the Spooky Bingo Bits Stamp Set.  There are 24 different images, I only used a few. You could have a different image on a full 2 dozen cupcakes!
Some images were stamped in Basic Black and others, I used Pumpkin Pie Classic Stamp Pads.
Next comes Stampin' Up's 1"circle punch.
(TIP: Watch the back of the punch until you see the image centered in the opening, then PUNCH!)

Because Stampin' Up! carries matching Ink and Cardstock you know I chose Basic Black and Pumkin Pie Cardstock for the scalloped background.
These were cut with our new 1 1/4" scallop circle punch (in our Holiday Catalog).
(TIP:  You'll need two matching scallop per pick)
Love this little punch!

Grab a handful of toothpicks and I'll tell you how to assemble.
Mount one stamped circle on a colored 1 1/4" scallop circle.   Then grab some Sticky Strip and place it on the back of the scallop circle.  Set the toothpick in position and top with another matching scallop circle.  You have just secured and sandwiched the toothpick between the colored scallops.

WALA!  Instant picks for your mini cupcakes.
Made by you (or maybe you and your children)!
All in minutes.

These are so fun and easy you don't have to wait for a special event. But who are we kidding......Tuesday night with the family.....Isn't that a special event?

You'll notice I used a little ribbon and some glue dots for some finishing touches.  Notice my favorite Bitty Bat Punch.   He is retired and not found in the current catalog, but he is still available on the Clearance rack at a reduced price.  Go HERE check him out!

Make it a CREATIVE day!

And one last note.
I hope you stop and look at the trees this fall.
Here in the Midwest the trees are showing their colors.
If it's night time, or you're stuck inside without windows, this is for you!

Enjoy!
