Custom Wedding Creation

This is a custom wedding card I created for a special wedding we attended.
Customizing  is one of the reasons making my own casrds, is so dear to my heart.
You can't walk in to a store and come home with a "custom" card!

The Mr. & Mrs. came from My Digital Studio.
It will be on sale 1/2 price! from Nov. 19th through the 24th. See Details.
I was able to make the greeting the size AND color I wanted.  I know it'd difficult to see the colors, so I'll help.  Think  Stampin' Up! 's Very Vanilla Card Stock, Elegant Eggplant trim. Basic Gray and Going Gray ink.  Going Gray has retired but it is still available when you use My Digital Studio!

This post is not about, if you like the card or not.  It is about, how and why you customize.
To make my point, I'll start with the Wedding invitation.
(I'm very sorry about the low quality photo's today)
This invitation is Timeless, Simple and Classic.  But very, ELEGANT!
It fits the Brides personality to a T!
You are going to have to use your imagination and trust me that these colors match
Stampin' Up! 's Very Vanilla Card Stock, Elegant Eggplant trim, and Going Gray ink.
They were beautiful!

The Bride and Groom usually have something to do with choosing the invitations, right?
So, if you transfer the feel of invitation to a handmade card,
you are sure to have a card that will be special to them.

An added perk for you, is that when you imitate the invitations you don't
have to start from scratch with an idea of your own.

What do you think?  Did I capture the feel of the invitation?

Next time you create a handmade card, think of really customizing it to the recipient.

I'm here to help you with ideas, if you need them  Contact me here!

Make it a CREATIVE day!
Mary
