Enjoy the Journey, Birthday

My Nephew turns 20 and he is leaving for a semester in Spain.
What better than a travel, birthday card.
I just love personalizing with a hand made card to make someone feel special.

There are so many elements I LOVE on this card.

Check out the texture on this new 7/16" natural trim ribbon #129287

How about these fun Soda Pop Tops #129388
The large works perfect with a 1" punch and the small with1/2" punch

Now where do these stamps come from?
My Digital Studio, MDS

I printed off this page of elements I created with MDS.  The two little blue planes did not get used.
The 3 Old Olive planes were punched with the 3/4" punch.
Two of the tiny blue planes were punched with the 1/2" punch.  Clouds were hand cut and
background paper was cut with my paper trimmer.
Then mounted with card stock.
Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Old Olive and Marina Mist were the colors I used.

Below you can see the MDS supply list
Don't forget you can still get a FREE 30-day trial with MDS

The inside of the card will show you where I used the rest of the elements that were printed out.
A pocket was created by adhering 3 sides of a rectangle of Soft Suede.  A couple of elements were adhered with glue dots to the open edge.  By doing this, you can see the "gift" inside is visible, but still camouflaged behind the inside design.  It's both unexpected and pretty unique.

You probably won't find this in a store bought card.

You can shop my store anytime of the day or night.

Make it a CREATIVE day!
