Stampin' Up! Spring Catalog CASE

Today's card is a CASE card.  CASE?  That means Copy and Share  Everything!  :-)  In the world of Stamping and crafting it is a compliment to have your work copied.......well.........
as long as you get credit for the inspiration.   So if you are willing to give credit
to were you first saw the initial idea.....go for it...Copy away!

I fell in love with this card when I saw it in the Stampin' Up! Spring catalog (Pg 20).
It made me want all the supplies!  Thank You for all the ideas in your catalog, Stampin' Up!

The Just Thinking stamp  (#129940) does have a complimentary framelits die but How did they cut out the center circle??  The old fashion way, with a scissors ;-)
Here are a few tips to create this card.
  • Start with a piece of Cherry Cobbler cut to 4 1/4" x 8"
  • Did you know you can stamp with the new foam pads and the ink is damp enough to sprinkle on clear embossing powder and then heat set?
  • Stamp & emboss the Thinking of You stamp Once on Marina Mist and once on Very Vanilla.  Cut out the Very Vanilla one with the Windows Frame Collection framelits  #129021....then you HAND CUT the Marian Mist layer.  The circle is large so it's easy to use the paper snips on the inside of the circle.

If you look closely you can see the blue cut frame layered over the full image
on the Vanilla Cardstock.   Use dimensionals to pop up the Marina Mist layer.  Notice the blue rhinestone??
I took our Basic Jewel Rhinestones and colored it with a blue sharpie.

Mount this on some Parkers Pattern DSP (#131021) and add a little
7/16" Natural Trim Ribbon (#129287)
then your finished!

Make it a CREATIVE day!

Mary
