Just Thinking, Color Challenge - PPA152

I accepted the Pals Paper Arts, Color Challenge.  It was a real challenge for me since the color combo wasn't anything I would normally put together. This gave me the perfect opportunity to step outside my typical color choices.

It just happened that I was cleaning up after a class where we made another card with the,
Just Thinking (#129940) stamp
Full Details HERE
My intention became to meld the 2 ...the idea of this card and the colors from the challenge.

Some days I start with the back of the card and work to the front.  Today I started at the front and worked backwards.  Good news: it doesn't matter ;-)

Here are my steps:
  1. stamp, "Just Thinking"  (#129940) in Real Red on Primrose Petal Card Stock, clear emboss and hand cut
  2. stamp, "Just Thinking" in Real Red on Whisper White Card Stock, clear emboss and cut  out with the Windows Frame Collection Framelits  (#129021)
  3. adhere these together with Dimensionals (#104430)
  4. use the next size framelits and cut out a window in a Whisper White square.
  5. Tie ribbons on the Whisper White and mount it on a larger square of Real Red
  6. Mount on a square of Pool Party
  7. mount all this on a folded rectangle of Primrose Petal
  8. If you would like exact dimensions of each layer.......Please e-mail me or post a comment.

Now I can say, I like this color combination!

Make it a CREATIVE day!
