Memorable Moments - Sunday Funday!

It's another Sunday Funday at our house!  My son will turn 31 on Monday, so we celebrated today.
Stampin' Up!'s Memorable Moments stamp set  was the perfect stamp set to commemorate the day.  I love this stamp set for it's versatility. It can be Masculine or Feminine, it can be adult or juvenile, it can be anytime of year.  Memorable Moments stamp set is another staple set, I wouldn't do without. You will definitely use this set over and over.

Since I had already wrapped the gift, I used that for my inspiration.
(read the entire post to find out where I hid the $$ part of my gift ;-)

Use the Memorable Moments Stamp Set 126682 and the Labels Collection Framelits Die 125598
for the front of your card. The white layer is 8 1/2' x 5 1/2" folded in half.  A piece of Basic Black 4" x 5 1/4 mounted on top.  The base of the card was a 1/2 sheet of Basic Black with 3/4" punched circles, adhered to the black. This makes an extra large card.

If you've see some of my previous posts, you know I like to occasionally make an extra large card like this.  Yo also know that I often like to make a special place for a little cash!  Since I'm creating the card, why have money needlessly fall from the card when it's opened.  So!  When you go to adhere the regular size card (white layer) to the 1/2 sheet of black with the polk-a-dots, only put adhesive on THREE sides.  Leave the side free from adhesive....it will make a little pocket.

I took a stack of bills folded them in 1/2 and tied a ribbon around them and tucked it in the ''pocket".  My husband didn't think you could tell you were suppose to pull at the ribbon so I punched 2 jewelry tags out and wrote instructions on them.  I often use the jewelry tag punch for little instructions.

Once the money is pushed in the pocket, it's secure and hidden,

Make it a CREATIVE day!
