Sketch Transformation -- PP#132

Stampin' Up!'s Mixed Bunch Stamp Set is the perfect set to transform yesterday's feature card layout, into something fresh.
Mixed Bunch - Wood-Mount Stamp
Mixed Bunch - Wood-Mount Stamp 125535  or   Mixed Bunch - Clear-Mount Stamp 125537

Things should be kept EASY so we can get the most use from our supplies, continue doing things we love, and still have time for the 1000 other things on the list (and the other 500 that never make it to the list!).  Inspiration is always the first step.  If you do not have an idea floating around in your head...just start with idea you've seen.  Feel free to use my ideas...that is why I do this!

My inspiration was my Valentine Quick Card (see it here)  along with a color challenge from the Paper Players.
Play along here

You can follow along with the steps in yesterdays card and just switch out the colors and the stamp set I used.  That's just what I did.  To open up a much larger variety of options, I used a full size embossing folder and just used a strip of it down the front of this card.
Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder Die 117335, is my favorite for most versatile.  Don't get me wrong, I think I have, and use, all of them.  But if you can only have one...
Get this one now!

Even with the Peek-a-boo window from the 2-1/2 Inch Circle Punch 120906 , you have plenty of writing room on the inside.

You notice the Blossom Punch 125603  coordinates perfectly and punches the flowers out easily.  Here is a quick tip for you----notice I stamped UNDER the flower?  Here, I did that on purpose....BUT!  Use this idea when you smoosh a stamp image or make a smear.  Just cover it up!

 Note to self:

No mistakes in stamping....just additional opportunities for embellishing!

Have you compared yesterdays card with this one.  Can you see the similarities?
One is Horizontal---one Vertical.  They both have a circle window with a punched image popped out off the inside layer.  They both have a strip of embossing across the front.  Ribbons on both.  So while they are very different....they are also very much the same.

Make it a CREATIVE day!

Mary
