Stampin' Up! s Sale-a-Bration ends Friday, March 22nd!

I have to say it again.
This Friday, March 22nd, Stampin' Up!'s Biggest sale of the year, will come to an end.
You have 4 more days to take advantage of all the FREE BONUSES Sale-a-Bration has to offer.

These cards to show you how SIMPLE, QUICK and EASY card making can be. With a minimal amount of supplies you can whip up a stack of all occasion cards.

Here's How:
  • Start with 1/2 sheet (8 1/2" x 5 1/2"), of Whisper White Card Stock .  Fold in half.
  • Cut a piece of Designer Series Paper to 5 1/2" x 3 1/2"
  • Place the DSP on top of the card front and tear, both pieces towards you.
  • Sponge the edge of the DSP in a coordinating color.
  • Tie a ribbon around the DSP and adhere it to the front flap of the card
  • Take a strip (1 3/4" x 5 1/2") of coordinating paper and adhere to the inside of the card.
  • Stamp a saying
  • Embellish the bow

You can see the detail of the torn DSP and the Whisper White Card Stock.  By tearing them together you will get the same wavy patterned edge. Sponging the Designer Series Paper highlights the edge.

You can see that each torn edge turns out a little different.

  1. Love this effect! Your colors are SO pretty--something I need for today's dreary weather!!! Bright and cheery!

  2. THANKS LeAnne! Wish I could take credit for those colors. I just opened up a pack of the Sycamore Street Designer Series paper and WALA! The colors and patterns were all there. Send me your snail mail address and I'll pop a piece of the cheery paper in an envelope for you. You can stick it somewhere to remind you SPRING is right around the corner ;-) Mary

  3. I love this card! Quick but super cute! :)
