WOO HOO! Single Stamps!

Stampin' Up! 's, WOO HOO single stamp  132661, takes center stage on this easy card.  I love these large stamps for super quick and easy cards. Even quick and easy can be classy too!

Today I'll show you one way I design a card.  You start off with a nice place to stamp.

Ok----Just this once I'll disclose the entire desk. ;-)

Yep---I actually showed this photo of my messy desk , earlier today on Facebook. (You might want to hit the "Follow Me"  facebook button on the upper right, so you don't miss anything.) OK, so now you can see I just cleared a spot ..... and grabbed a stamp pad from my desk (why take out another one!)  This was the start of my inspiration.  The Woo Hoo stamp and Raspberry Ripple Ink.

I stamped the WOO HOO Stamp on Whisper White Card Stock with Rasberry Ripple Classic Ink.  Our new firm foam pads give such a crisp image AND you can leave as is, or you can heat emboss the image with a little clear embossing powder.  Your choice.

Next, I colored the stamp in with our Markers and Aqua Painters 103954.  As an option I did stamp the image 3 times and cut the cake and the plate separately, using dimensionals to pop them up.

These photo's were taken so I could show you how I chose my colors.
What a great tool when you just don't want to think.  (Today I didn't want to clear my desk of...and I didn't want to think either!)   You can see I pulled out the Rasberry Ripple card from the Color Coach... flipped it over and discovered a great creative color combination to use.

Since I used the Color Coach it made it easy to choose the background card stock, Old Olive 100702 and the Raspberry Ripple 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon 126845

If you look closely you will notice the white background was embossed with the Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder Die 123128
