Mother's Day Delight

A little frill for Mom!   In this card I celebrate Mom and a couple of retiring colors--
Certainly Celery and Rose Red! They are both available while supplies last.

These are the Star supplies on this card:
  • Everything Eleanor Stamp Set (124162 wood) or (124164 clear)
  • Wonderful Mother  Stamp Set (126505 wood) or (126507 clear)
  • Elegant Bouquet Folder (115964)
  • 1 1/4" Two Tone Ribbon (Pink Pirouette 129294)
  • 3/8" Taffetta Ribbon (Certainly Celery 119963)

You know most of my projects are clean and simple. This is a LOT of ribbon for me.
But I chose this wide ribbon because it could be  QUICK and EASY!

I was entering a Tic Tac Toe challenge from the Paper Players PP139
and decided to use items on the bottom row.

You can see................Ribbon, Mother's Day and Pink & Green

Tips for the ribbon treatment.
You can see the threads, Pink Pirouette and Rose Red in the Two Tone Ribbon from the  Spring Catalog.  It was fun striping it and the 3/8" Taffetta Ribbon.
Snail  (104332) is how I held the ribbon together.. you can also use Sticky Strip (104294).
Once you have adhered them together, you can tie it as one ribbon.
A few Mini Glue Dots (103683) and you can make a knot look like a bow.

Tips for the flowers.
I stamped the flower in Rose Red and colored it in with Pink Pirouette to match the ribbon.
I used the same stamp for all 3 flowers.  Note: I just cut out the center petals to make one of the flowers smaller.  Of course, peal centers for Mom!  I did pop up all my cut outs with dimensionals

This card is too pretty to put INSIDE an envelope.  Had deliver.  Put it on a plant or put it right on the front of your gift bag for a Customized Gift Wrap!

Either way...a card or gift wrap...

Wouldn't this make you feel special?

Make it a CREATIVE day!
Mary
