Petite Pairs Birthday

Lots of Birthday's here at my house.  This one is for my Mother-in-Law.

Petite Pairs Stamp Set is highlighted by the oval shape from the Designer Frames Folder.

You will want to take note of the retiring colors, Certainly Celery & Pretty in Pink
Tempting Turquoise will remain in the Brights Collection.

I'm not going to talk about my bow...I couldn't get it just the way I wanted it...
so this is how it will stay.

But the flowers............
The Pretty in Pink flowers are made with our new Creped Filter Paper (129393), and the new
7/8" scallop Circle Punch (129404) I've been talking about (HERE).  These flower I used on my Easter Egg card (HERE)

Here is a quick tutorial showing the making of a paper flower with the big shot.

You can use a punch instead of the big shot.  You'll need 4-5 layers but you will punch them separately.  Here is a tip!  Place a post-it note over the creped paper and cut through the post it and the creped paper.  It will cut easily.  When using a punch....one layer of creped paper is too flimsy to cut with out the post it note.

Itty Bitty Punch Pack 118309 comes to the rescue again for some flower accents.  If you look back through some posts you'll see I've been using it a lot!

Tie it all up with some 5/8' organza ribbon 114319.  It's one of the most versatile ribbons Stampin' Up! offers.  Use it white, or dye it to match any color!  You can use a marker or hold it down on your ink pad and drag it through a few times to get your desired color.

One last tip.  To soften the Certainly Celery front....I dabbed on some White Craft ink.  Tapping lightly and just hitting the tops of the raised dots.  There will be just a smoosh of light white whips on the background.

Pull your supplies out and do something fun!

If you pull something out and have NO IDEA......send me a note or make a comment.  Who knows, your question could end up as my next idea for a project.

So here is your chance......I can design something that will use a mix of supplies you have on hand.  You could get a custom designed card from me, posted here.
Waiting to hear from you.

Make it a CREATIVE day!
