Day of Gratitude for Curly Cute!

Today, I continue to pay tribute to some of my favorite retiring sets!

The retiring items I played with are Pretty In Pink,
Day of Gratitude (120835 w) or (121148 c) and Curly Cute (117014 w) or (120510 c)
I rolled them all into this simple sketch FMS86
You can always follow along here too

When I see Day of Gratitude I think Fall because it was released in the fall and it says Thanksgiving, has acorns and leaves....right?

Day of Gratitude Stamp Set - by Stampin' Up!

Well....not all the time!  Does this look FALL?

This medallion turns delicate in pink, with all it's amazing detail.
I heat embossed it, so that you could FEEL it. Can you see the amazing textures here?  Our velvety smooth Very Vanilla Card Stock, the ever versatile Seam Binding Ribbon and the hi lo of a heat embossed image.  It's a treat for the senses....to make and to share!

Curly Cute is just a greeting Power House!

You will see this set several times on my blog.  Search my blog  to find more samples
(Search bar is on the upper left, just under my photo)

Adding a Curly Cute greeting is like a BAM! for card creations.

I finished off the card with a little trim, compliments of the
Needle Point, Textured Impressions Embossing Folders (129383).
This little tool IS being held over to the
2013-2014 Stampin' Up! Catalog

Contact me ( maryhogen@gmail.com ) if you do not have your catalog yet.

Curly Cute, Day of Gratitude and Pretty in Pink items are all going away!
We have less than 2 weeks before these items retire.  (full list can be seen here)

So what do you think??  I made this for a wedding...but I think it could be a baby card as is.
Change it to some school colors and WALA! a graduation card!

Thanks for visiting my blog.

Make it a CREATIVE day!

Mary
