Swallowtail Stays!

Swallowtail is one of my favorite stamps in the Stampin' Up! Spring Catalog.
Good news!
Swallowtail will also be in the New 2013-2014 Stampin' Up! Catalog (to be released May31st!)

Today I chose colors that were in the Pals Paper Arts Challenge PPA158
PoolStarfruitLimeade

This great stamp has amazing detail.  It stands on it's own with little need for embellishment.

The Swallowtail image was cut into 3 pieces, 1 1/2" each, and then backed with a matching piece of card stock.

What a simple card!

This second is even more simple than the one above.
For an April class project, we let the detail of this great stamp shine.
The Black Embossing Powder looks great on the retiring Certainly Celery Card Stock.

A greeting is all you need to complete the card.
Itty Bitty Banners coordinates perfectly with Bitty Banner Framelits Dies.
A couple dimensionals perfectly placed, allows you to add some dimension to the banners

Make it a CREATIVE day!

  2. I resisted buying Swallowtail because I was afraid it wouldn't carry over - now it's on my list. I love the separated panels - that just looks so classy! Thanks for sharing it with us at SUO Challenges!

  6. Thanks so much, Deb and Ter! I love the tri-panel card too. But, when in a pinch for time, I like letting the Swallowtail detail steal the show. Happy stamping ladies!!
