A Shirt for Dad!

Yep---here it is, a shirt for dad!
(there may be a video HOW TO coming soon)

I haven't made one of these in a long time.  I love being able to use my
Stripes Embossing Folder (123128) on it.
HAH!  with some of the new styles, I thought about crumbling the paper for that
"wrinkled look".........well........I just can't do it.  I must be "Old School".

Can you find these accessories......
  • Subtles Candy Dots 130933  (collar buttons)
  • Epic Day This and That DSP 130814  (the tie)
  • Bitty Banners Framelits Die 129267 (the Happy Father's Day banner)
  • Teeny Tiny Wishes 128748 w  or 127802 c  (Happy Father's Day greeting)
  • Really Good Greetings 130330 w  or 130333c (inside greeting)
And the colors.......
  • So Saffron (shirt),
  • Soft Sky (banner),
  • Early Espresso (ink),
  • Calypso Coral (tie)

These colors came direct from Ann's Challenge over at The Paper Players PP149

Such a fun combination, I had to bring it right inside the shirt too!
You were wondering if I was going to show you the inside weren't you??
This is one of our brand new stamp sets from the Stampin' Up! 2013-2014 Catalog.
Really Good Greetings

I did use this set in a recent card.  It was with a retired set...but it's kinda cute so HERE IT IS
if you want to check it out.

Several of you responded to my FIRST VIDEO!!

What I learned so far
  •  You are an amazing bunch of encouraging people
  • I need to turn the camera the 'other way".  That means you'll see more of my desk ;-) YIKES!
  • Rustling cellophane is annoying
  • I'm going to make mistakes
  • I might be OK without editing

This shirt card, might be just the thing for another video.
I might take a stab at a "take two"!

Make it a CREATIVE day!
Mary

  2. I love this, Mary! I've always wanted to learn to make a shirt card. The striped embossing is very "shirt-like" and I like the paper you selected for the tie. Thanks for sharing your creation with us at The Paper Players!
