Creating Again!

I'm BACK!!!!    Sorry it's been so long since I've posted.
Sometimes my stamping and crafting has to take a backseat.  I appreciate you continuing to check back here.

This card takes advantage of several items from the 2013-2014 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalog
  • 2013-2015 In Colors: Baked Brown Sugar, Strawberry Slush, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, Coastal Cabana
  • Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder 129984
  • Apothecary Accents Framelits Die 127003
  • Strawberry Slush 3/8" Ruffle Stretch Ribbon
  • Decorative Label Punch
  • Sassy Salutations Stamp Set
Do you like the strip background paper?  Yep, Strip, not Stripe!

It's made from strips of Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana, Pistachios Pudding and Crisp Cantaloupe glued onto Baked Brown Sugar Card Stock.

The greeting is from Sassy Salutations Stamp Set
 Sassy Salutations

On sale through the end of June

How about this stretchy ruffled ribbon?
Look at the textures here.  You just don't get that with a store bought card.

To get me creating again I looked to these challenges to get me going.

  2. Thanks Deb!!

I've not posted directions yet (they are coming!) I guess you could tell, the background paper is just tiny strips of the New In Colors glued to the Brown Sugar...THANKS for noticing.

  5. Great use of supplies! The half framelit shape as a background for the sentiment is awesome. Also love your ribbon treatment! So smart to double the ruffled trim up like that to make a wider ribbon! Thanks for sharing at Fab Friday!
