Stampin' Up! , Gymboree & Skittles

How do Stampin' Up! ,  Gymboree & Skittles relate to a man's 30 something birthday?
  • My Son-in-Law had a birthday, I didn't want to be boring.
  • He likes Skittles.
  • I had a Gymboree gift box that could disguise the power drill he was getting for his Birthday.
  • Stampin' Up! is perfect for personalizing cards and coordinating and event.

Stampin' Up! has so many amazing colors of card stock, ink and accessories, that it was easy to duplicate the colors on the Gymboree gift box.
A circle punch and some Tombo glue made quick work of the background.

One of my favorite Sentiment sets, Delightful Dozen (w 128547) or (c 122652) provided the perfect sentiment to go with the fun dot theme.

This photo is much more in focus!  You can see I heat embossed the sentiment with back embossing powder for a glossy crisp look.

Scraps laying around on the desk made easy work of the inside of the card.

You can see the whole box here.  Now you know why I decided to use Pumpkin Pie as the background color.
I've created some color charts for you to keep track of what Stampin Up! Colors you have,
Email me (maryhogen@gmail.com) and I'll send you a file copy.

I've been working for a few days getting it in a downloadable format here on my blog......
no luck yet.   But I will figure it out.  Meantime I can e-mail it to you direct upon request!

I'm sure I just haven't spent enough time figuring it out. But I will!  I'll be honest....I've been spending LOTS of time with these sweet faces!  In no time they will be back in school!

Make it a CREATIVE day!
