Wedding Layers

One of my favorite things about making your own cards is the ability to
customize the card to match it's recipient.
In the case of a wedding, you can always take some cues from the wedding invitation, if you don't have any inside scoop on the wedding details.

The Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder (130917) mimics lace.  The bride had a full lace dress.  I chose a Congratulations greeting from Layered Labels (w 132028) or (c 127072)  because it had a classic feel.  It was easy to cut out with
Apothecary Accents Framelits (127003).

Whisper White and Crumb Cake look great accented with 7/16" Trim (129287)

I thought the border from Creative Elements (w 128523) or (122647) coordinated perfectly.  My intention was to have that layer just plain white, but I couldn't resist the chance to use these two stamps together.

A whole sheet of Crumb Cake card stock was folded in half to leave plenty of room for layering, the sentiment and a nice space for a personal note.
This inside greeting comes from the One in a MILLION stamp set (w 132052) or (c 126382).

So where do you put the check so it doesn't fall out and it doesn't  cover up your personal message?

 You saw it didn't you?
I stamped the Congratulations once more and cut our the 'pretties' and then attached it to the check so it wouldn't get lost...but it would get noticed!

If you need help on customizing a wedding card or invitations, I would be glad to assist you.
I'll wait for you to e-mail me.
