Witches Brew Decor

Look at this FUN and TRENDY home decor piece.  Would you believe you could make this in about a half hour??

The star of this project is Witches Brew Designer Series Paper.

Check out the center page.

Here is the part of the 12 x 12 sheet that I used.
You can see there is still a lot of paper left to cut apart and make some great food and drink tags or signs for a Halloween buffet!

First I sponged on some Tangerine Tango ink to add a little color and accent.  You'll never notice the excess that spills over onto the black.  Makes it super easy.

I then painted the board black on all sides.  I'm all about FAST! and EASY!!
So I  put the piece of paper right down on the wet paint!  Because our DSP is so nice and heavy, it works great and saves a step, acts like glue.

I added a few scraps of DSP from the collection and made some layered banners.  The top layer is a piece of ribbon accented with three 'Orange Sharpie' colored rhinestones.

I had cut my board slightly smaller than the paper.  After the pain was dry I sanded the edges. The white paper core shows just a tad of distressing.

I finished it off with a few more rhinestone accents and WALA!

This will be a fun Halloween decor item for years to come!

Make it
